Robert Engman’s “Quadrature #1” on Hamilton Walk near HUP serves as the backdrop for this campus scene. Engman, who taught fine arts at Penn for nearly 30 years, created several other pieces for campus and also saw his work displayed at such museums as the Museum of Modern Art and the Hirshhorn Museum.
