Share skills

Two Penn seniors want you to be in the know.

Karishma Shah and Sushanth Bhaskarabhatla, both from the College of Arts and Sciences, recently won $25,000 in start-up money for their idea of SkillHub, an online platform that allows users to share knowledge and skills. The students won the nationwide “Movers & Changers” competition through the New York Stock Exchange and mtvU. Shah and Bhaskarabhatla’s video-sharing website will specialize in tutorials about niche skills that aren’t traditionally available in other places.

The students will test the first version of the website at Penn before scaling and modifying the project for a wider audience
