The Annenberg Center for Performing Arts welcomes Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre Company with their production of “King Lear.” Founded by the pioneering American actor and director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare’s Globe is a unique, London-based international resource dedicated to the exploration of the Bard of Avon’s work and the playhouse for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education. Opening night takes place on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Zellerbach Theatre. Registration is required. Tickets range from $20 to $55. Performances run through Saturday, Sept. 27.
