WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

“Light and Landscape: Photographs by Jack Booth” features work by a landscape photographer interested in capturing the majesty of the natural world. “La Tauromaquia: Carnicero, Goya, Picasso and the Bullfight” features 70 exceptional prints by Antonio Carnicero (1748-1814), Francisco Goya (1746-1828), and Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). This exhibition reveals founder Arthur Ross’ passion for master prints and honors his vision for a university gallery that presents exhibitions of art and artifacts from around the world. RALLY ‘ROUND THE FLAG

“Black Bodies in Propaganda: The Art of the War Poster” presents 33 posters aimed at mobilizing people of color in war efforts, even as they faced oppression at home. "From War to Home"

FROM WAR TO HOME

The exhibit, “From War to Home: Through the Veteran’s Lens,” showcases the images and words of 40 veterans of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The show, funded by the Veterans Administration, provides a window into the impact of military service on health and the stress of making the transition back to civilian life. HOW TO MAKE A NATIVE AMERICAN QUILT

“Creating: Quilts of the Lakota” presents more than 20 eye-dazzling quilts from the Pine Ridge Heritage Center and Indian Reservation in South Dakota. In addition, 19th-century Lakota artifacts from the Penn Museum will provide a context for Native sewing traditions prior to the introduction of quilting at Pine Ridge.
