Microbes are the focus of an upcoming two-day symposium at Penn. From Oct. 15-16, the “Microbial Communities in Health and Disease” symposium will delve into the ways in which these small and occasionally overlooked organisms interact, promote health, and sometimes cause disease in humans and animals.
