As part of Penn’s Arts & the City Year, more than 30 Penn, Philadelphia and regional arts and cultural institutions will participate in the Locust Walk Arts Fair, on campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The outdoor fair provides students, faculty and staff a fun, free and informal way to learn more about the exhibitions, concerts, plays, dance performances, lectures and events taking place on and off campus over the upcoming months.

Organizations will have tables with information set up along Locust Walk. Art institutions scheduled to attend the fair include the Opera Company of Philadelphia; Philadelphia Orchestra; Pennsylvania Ballet; Penn Museum; EgoPo Theater; 1812 Productions; Rosenbach Library; The Kelly Writers House; Institute of Contemporary Art; Koresh Dance Company; Academy of Natural Sciences, and many others.

If the weather does not cooperate, a rain date for the fair has been set for Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Penn’s Arts & the City Year is a University initiative to highlight and promote exhibitions, performances, lectures, readings and symposia, demonstrating Penn’s ongoing commitment to the arts.
