Fun, food and football at Penn’s 2009
Family Day

Penn Family Day

On Saturday, Oct. 10, the University opens its doors to all faculty and staff and their families and friends at the 17th annual Penn Family Day.

There’s plenty to do for adults and kids alike, starting with a family-friendly Tailgate Party. Fans will cheer on the Quaker football team as they face Bucknell.

While tickets to the Tailgate Party and the football game are no longer available, visitors can enjoy a docent tour of the Penn Museum exhibit, “Painted Metaphors: Pottery and Politics of the Ancient Maya,” and a public gallery tour of the extensive collection of African music and masks. For just $2.50 (the cost of a skate rental), families can end the day by taking a spin around the Penn Ice Rink.

All activities are hosted by Penn’s Division of Human Resources, in association with Penn Athletics. Click here for a complete schedule of events and more information.
