Dean of Admissions Eric J. Furda, a 1987 Penn graduate, will answer questions about the college admissions process from Oct. 26 through Oct. 30 for “The Choice” education blog of The New York Times.

The blog, authored by New York Times education writer Jacques Steinberg, features Furda in an interactive forum, providing readers with advice about applying to college. Furda has served as Penn’s Dean of Admissions since July 2008. He previously was the executive director of undergraduate admissions (and vice president for alumni relations) at Columbia University, where he earned an M.A. from Teachers College.
