It was a very good year


As is customary at this time of year, The World Cafe spends the last half of December looking back at the years best, with programs devoted to the best performances and recordings of the year and encore broadcasts of favorite Cafe visits. Theres also a special event a week-long celebration of Rounder Records on the labels 30th anniversary.

The World Cafe, which is heard on more than 100 public radio stations nationwide, is produced by WXPN (88.5 FM) and airs locally from 2 to 7 p.m. weekdays. All live appearances air between 3 and 4 p.m.
