Parents rejoice! The bigger,
better Penn Childrens Center has moved to its new location,
which means more space for more kids like (left to right) Daniel
Matthew and Ben Waldman, pictured here reading with teacher Beth
Gillard. The new child care facility, located in the Left Bank Commons
at 31st and Chestnut, accommodates about 106 children a 27
percent increase over the enrollment at PCCs former location
on Spruce Street. Penn affiliates qualify for reduced rates, and
certain employees are eligible for additional subsidies. The Center
is now accepting applications; visit www.upenn.edu/bus-svcs/childctr
for more information.
“Even though they themselves were wealthy and privileged men, they would be appalled by the impact and effect of money, not only on elections but on governance.”
