Quaker forward Koko Archibong (C03) breaks through a forest of Crimson defenders to go for a jumper in the mens basketball game against Harvard Feb. 15. Archibong scored 10 points and had six rebounds in Penns 78-51 shellacking of Harvard. The win boosted Penns record in the Ivy League to 5-3, keeping the Quakers Ivy title hopes alive; subsequent home victories over Dartmouth, Brown and Yale put the teams record at 8-3, two games behind league-leading Princeton. As of press time, the Quakers could still gain at least a share of the Ivy League title if they win all three of their remaining games; should that not happen, Penn will go into the record books as the first Ivy League team to win more than 20 games in a season without winning the league title.
