New digs for rare objects

A late 19th-century headdress from Alaska moves into its climate-controlled resting place in the University of Pennsylvania Museums new Mainwaring Wing April 3 with the help of Bill Wierzbowski, assistant keeper of the Museums American section. To celebrate the completion of the new storage and research wing, the Museum is throwing a party for the campus community May 3 and a public celebration May 4 and 5. See What's On.
