WHO HE IS: Arborist, Morris Arboretum

WHAT HE DOES: White’s job sends him up a tree—literally.
As arborist, he prunes and maintains the health of the trees in the Arboretum’s
living collection. When he’s not climbing trees, he participates
in the Arboretum’s educational and outreach activities.
NUMBER OF TREES: 4,796—about one-third of the Arboretum’s
living collection of 13,240 plants
