McKelvey designs envelopes, posters and stationary at Penns in-house graphic design firm for virtually anyone at the University. I meet with clients, talk about their needs, what they want and who their audience is, she says. She then takes that information and comes up with a design to fit her clients needs. Her favorite recent project is a poster she designed for a Wharton Women in Business conference.
Even though McKelvey is currently juggling about 10 different projects, she says late summer and spring, in particular, keep the Creative Communications staff on their toes. Little wonder, since the team designs both the Commencement program and class schedule books.
