Expert on College Freshmen and the "Freshman 15"

Dr. Stella Volpe is available to discuss the "Freshman 15," the tendency of some college freshmen to put on weight during their first year in college.  Dr. Volpe is a registered dietitian, exercise physiologist and nursing professor at the University of Pennsylvania and has researched issues related to obesity prevention, body composition and exercise for more than a decade.

At Penn's School of Nursing, Dr. Volpe teaches Issues in Nutrition, Exercise and Fitness and Principles of Human Nutrition.
