At the fourth annual dinner honoring donors of undergraduate scholarships and the scholarship recipients, Eleanor Latta, widow of James Latta Jr. (W '41), and her son, Duie Latta (top photo), met this year's James Latta Scholar, Jason Botel (C '97). The James Latta Scholarship Fund was established in 1900 by William James Latta in memory of his great-grandfather, the Reverend James Latta, a member of Penn's first graduating class in 1757.
