Grand Opening Planned Dec. 5 for 'The Hub,' Mixed-Use Building at 40th and Chestnut Streets

WHAT:  A grand opening event, celebrating the completion of The Hub, a nine-story, 100-unit residential-retail complex at 40th and Chestnut streets in University City, constructed by Teres Holdings, LLC, of Philadelphia

WHERE:  The second floor of The Hub, 3935 Chestnut St., Philadelphia

WHEN:  5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5

WHO:  Featured speakers will include:

  • Ahsan M. Nasratullah, CEO, Teres Holdings, LLC
  • Philadelphia City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell
  • Craig Carnaroli, executive vice president, University of Pennsylvania

DETAILS:  The Hub, an architecturally distinctive, post-modern building, is the latest in a series of revitalizing developments on 40th Street, including the FreshGrocer and Bridge Cinema.

After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the public is invited to enjoy this newest residential/retail offering in University City.  

Parking will be available in the garage over the FreshGrocer supermarket at 40th and Walnut streets.
