Penn Dental Medicine Students Take Part in Oral Cancer Walk April 24 on Penn Campus

WHAT:

The Oral Cancer Awareness Society of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine presents the second annual 3.1-mile Philadelphia Oral Cancer Walk to promote awareness of the disease to members of the dental community and to surrounding neighborhoods.

A $20 donation is required to register or sponsor a participant, and survivors of oral cancer may walk free of charge as honored guests. All proceeds will benefit the Oral Cancer Foundation.

Saturday, April 24, 2010
Registration at 9 a.m.
Walk and free oral cancer screenings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments and entertainment until 2 p.m.

WHERE:

Beginning and ending at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, 240 S. 40th St. at Locust Street.
