In commemoration of the 250th birthday of Albert Gallatin, America’s Swiss founding father, a U.S. congressman and the longest serving treasury secretary, the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania and the Consulate General of Switzerland in New Yorkwill present a discussion on public debt management and shaping a sustainable fiscal future at theNational Constitution Center Sept. 27.

 

Ambassador 
François Barras,
Swiss Consul General in New York, will offer welcoming remarks. David Thornburgh,
executive director
of the Fels Institute, will deliver opening remarks. The event will be moderated by WPVI-TV News Anchor Tamala Edwards of WPVI-TV.
