Colleges to Promote Entrepreneurship as Career Path

The Blackstone Charitable Foundation is granting $3 million over five years to establish apartnership to promote entrepreneurship among students at Temple University and Philadelphia University. The grant will fund the establishment of centers on the universities’ campuses that are modeled after a center that the University of Miami opened in 2008. The centers will promote entrepreneurship as a career option and try to provide students with the skills, knowledge and guidance to turn ideas into businesses.
