The Association of American Law Schools has placed Villanova University’s law school on probation for two years for reporting inflated admissions data. The move follows the American Bar Association’s decision, in August 2011, to publicly censure the law school. In a letter announcing its decision, the law-schools association credited the university with investigating the incident and said the data falsification had been the work of four employees who no longer work for the university.
