Penn named a top workplace in Philadelphia region
Top Workplace 2010 Penn has been ranked one of the Top Workplaces in the Philadelphia region by the Philadelphia Inquirer/Daily News based on survey responses provided by Penn employees. The University and its Health System were rated No. 3  among large employers.

Developed by Bon Appétit at Penn Dining, the frequent-buyer club cards allow cardholders to "earn" a free meal at the Houston Market, the Shoppes at 1920 Commons or Yo-reka! by doing what they regularly do -- eat.
Latino Diaspora Research
Stanton E.F. Wortham, the Judy and Howard Berkowitz Professor in the Graduate School of Education, investigates how non-Latino residents of New Latino Diaspora communities regard their new neighbors, and how the immigrants view their hosts' reactions. 
A year of water, everywhere
Year of the Water
The Office of the Provost has named the 2010-2011 academic year the Year of Water. Starting in September, the Penn community will participate in an interdisciplinary series of talks, conferences, discussions, tours and exhibits around the theme of water.
