PennMOVES seeks volunteers for annual charity sale PennMOVES, the University's annual charity drive to collect and redistribute left-behind clothing, furniture, kitchen appliances and non-perishable food items, is seeking volunteers to help with all aspects of the event. Volunteers are needed May 10 through June 5.
A Tactile Gaming Vest designed by Penn Engineering students allows video game players to physically feel the impact of each
gunshot blast as they play first-person shooter game "Half-Life 2."
The Morris Arboretum's annual Plant Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, at the brand new Horticulture Center at Bloomfield Farm. There, you can purchase an array of unusual and hard-to-find plants and also get expert advice from the Arboretum's horticulture staff.
Penn faculty and staff will have another savings vehicle to consider for their retirement portfolios beginning July 1, when the Roth 403(b) will be added to the many options employees can select with either of Penn's retirement vendors -- TIAA-CREF and Vanguard.
