Penn connects with social media
Social Media
Social networking websites have revolutionized the ways in which colleges and universities promote campus news and events. Penn has a strong presence on the web across a number of social media platforms, including Twitter, Flickr, Facebook and YouTube.

If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, there is a spot on campus that offers a serene slice of the country right here in West Philadelphia. Tucked away in a quiet nook off Hamilton Walk, the BioPond is home to a wide variety of native and non-native plant species, as well as an assortment of small animals.

"Ancient Rome & America," an exhibition on display at the National Constitution Center, showcases the cultural, political and social connections between ancient Rome and modern America. Campbell Grey, an assistant professor in the Department of Classical Studies, co-curated the exhibit.
