Free skin cancer screening stresses early detection
Skin Cancer
To underscore the importance of early skin cancer detection, Penn Dermatology and the Abramson Cancer Center are presenting a free skin cancer screening on Saturday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to noon. Anyone is welcome, but participants must first register.

Quiet Places
After a winter of abominable snow, spring has finally arrived, bringing the promise of sunny days, clear skies and warm weather in the coming months. Take the time to enjoy the great outdoors at a few campus quiet spots before the mugginess of August arrives.

Basketball Coaches
After first meeting around two decades ago as high school freshmen at Episcopal Academy, Jerome Allen and Dan Leibovitz are reunited as Penn basketball coaches. In March, Allen was named the John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men's Basketball and one of his first moves was to bring Leibovitz back to Penn.

Weiss Pavilion set to open this summer
Weiss Pavilion
In just a few weeks, students, faculty, staff and alumni will have a new place to pump up, stretch out and de-stress. The Robert A. Fox Fitness Center, located inside the concourse level of the new George A. Weiss Pavilion at Franklin Field, is scheduled to open in June.
