Boston Globe Closing?
May 06, 2009

Expert comment from the University of Pennsylvania:

The New York Times, owner of The Boston Globe, may this week close the venerable New England newspaper, depriving New Englanders of a source for news that generations have enjoyed.

Michael X. Delli Carpini, Ph.D., Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication, studies how and where Americans get their news. With major newspapers like The Globe closing, the answer is becoming increasingly important.

Note: Penn has an available uplink facility with live-shot capability and an ISDN line.
