The Penn Press spring 2008 catalog announces Against the Wall, a wide-ranging series of essays, edited by Elijah Anderson, that look at the plight and prospects of young black urban men; Mapping Decline, by Colin Gordon, an illustrated history of urban decay in St. Louis; and Almost a Dynasty, by William Kashatus, about the world champion 1980 Philadelphia Phillies.
