Criminology Graduation with Eric Holder
May 16, 2009

President Gutmann joined 2009 graduates of the Criminology Department in the School of Arts and Sciences.

The ceremony, hosted by Penn’s Jerry Lee Center of Criminology, is one of many school and departmental graduation-related events scheduled to be held the weekend before the University’s 253rd Commencement Monday, May 18.

Holder graduated from Columbia Law School in 1976 and joined the Department of Justice. He has served as an associate judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia and deputy U.S. attorney general.
