Teaching is central to everything that happens at
Penn, from classrooms and research labs to college houses, seminars, and dozens of informal settings
across campus.
Teaching is also a key component of the commitment to integrating knowledge at the core of the Penn Compact. Penn’s Penn Integrates Knowledge professors are leaders in cross-disciplinary fields who hold joint appointments between two schools and actively engage the campus in cutting-edge interdisciplinary knowledge.
