SPOUSE/DEPENDENT

Spouses/Partners of Penn Affiliates, as defined by University policy, and dependents, 7 to 23 years of age, are eligible for membership with a valid PennCard.

All Spouses/Partners and dependents must have a valid PennCard (pictured below) to enroll in membership. Spouse/Partners and dependents must purchase a PennCard for $30 from the Penn Card Center (first) on the second floor of the book store on 36th and Walnut, and then must purchase a membership at the Member Services Office.

**The spouse/dependent plan is only applicable if the primary affiliate has an active membership. If the primary affiliate does not have a membership, the Spouse/Partner or dependent would take on the primary affiliate’s membership price.

 

ANNUAL RATE = $376

Valid 365 days from the date of enrollment

Those enrolled in Payroll Deduction will have a fixed end date of August 31 (scroll down for more information).


30 DAY RATE = $47

Valid 30 days from the date of enrollment

 

How to Enroll

Pay for your membership in full:

Once a PennCard has been purchased, the spouse/dependent must sign up for membership in the Membership Services Office during business hours. If the dependent is under the age of 18, he/she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Pay for your membership via an installment plan:

Installment plans must be processed in the Membership Services Office. All Spouses/Partners and Dependents of UPenn Students will be required to pay for the first month of access on the date of enrollment via a Visa or MasterCard.

  • The Campus Recreation Basic plan for the 2017-2018 year is $376, divided by 12 that comes out to $31.50 per month. Membership is valid 365 days from the date of purchase.
  • To start immediately, a down payment equivalent to one month is due at the time of enrollment.
  • The remaining payments will be deducted automatically from the card you put on file starting the following month.

 

Pay for your membership via payroll deduction: 

Campus Recreation is in the process of transitioning to a new Member Management System. Due to the transition, payroll deduction renewals must be processed in Membership Services. Any University Faculty/Staff Member and their spouse/dependents renewing through payroll deduction will be required to pay for the first month of access on the date of enrollment via a Visa or MasterCard.

  • The cost of the Campus Recreation Basic plan for the 2017-2018 year is $376, divided by 12 that comes out to $31.50 per month.  Membership is valid from the date of enrollment thru August 31, 2018.
  • To start immediately, a down payment equivalent to one month is due at the time of enrollment.
  • The remaining payments will be deducted automatically from your pay check starting the following month.
