The University of Pennsylvania, Department of Recreation offers internships for undergraduate and graduate level students studying Sport & Recreation Management, Health Promotion, Exercise and Wellness, and related fields.  The goal of the Internship/Co-op Program is to provide an intern with the opportunity to apply information and skills obtained in the classroom to real-life working situations. Internships will offer experiences in Facility and Event Operations, Fitness & Wellness Programming, Structured Sport, and Marketing & Membership Services.

Enhance your internship experience by completing hours in Climbing Wall Management, Outdoor Adventures, Aquatics Management, Web / Graphic Design or Health Promotion.

Interns will have the opportunity to work in the $23 million dollar David Pottruck Health & Fitness Center which is the center piece of the Department and helped produce over $4.5 million dollars in revenue in 2005-06 academic year.
