Pottruck membership not required. No experience necessary. Equipment provided.

Increase group and self awareness through climbing and team building activities. Customize a learning experience to meet your goals. A unique method for student organizations to foster unity: by emphasizing trust, communication, and leadership participants can work out the kinks that may inhibit a group from working efficiently as a team. Each event is 2 hours.

  • What can people learn from climbing wall and teambuilding programs? 

    Climbing and teambuilding programs provide opportunities for groups to strengthen a team bond by increasing trust amongst individuals, focusing on communication, enhancing problem solving skills, and providing a unique fun learning environment.

  • Who uses teambuilding and climbing wall programs?

    These programs provide unique learning opportunities for sport teams, clubs, internship programs, camps, and orientation programs. Or we can customize a semester program focused on the technical aspects of climbing.

  • How long are your programs?

    Programs generally last about 3 hours, but more time may be required depending on the group’s goal and size.

  • How do you register for teambuilding and climbing wall programs?

    Contact the Assistant Director of Outdoor Adventure Programs at 215-898-6100 or EMAIL US to arrange a date and time for a climbing or teambuilding program. We require a $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve a date. The remainder of the balance is due at the time of the party. Payments can be made by credit card or check.

    • Where do teambuilding programs take place?

      Climbing and teambuilding programs are conducted at the Pottruck Health and Fitness Center.

    • What if people do not want to participate? 

      All activities are “Challenge by Choice” meaning that each participant chooses their amount, level, and intensity of participation. Participants are encouraged to push their comfort zones to promote growth opportunities. We understand everybody has different levels of comfort. Hence, all activities include various individual roles so all people feel comfortable to participate.
