What is Open Recreation?
Any time Campus Recreation refers to Space as ‘Open Recreation’ it means that space is available for drop-in use. Recreation access/membership is NOT required.
Weather permitting, the open rec hours for the track at Franklin Field will be as follows: Mon: 10a-1p Tues-Fri: 10a-2pm. Exceptions will be posted on the Homepage. Access to the Track flows through the entrance of the Fox Fitness Center (note, when Fox Fitness is closed the track is also closed). To view hours of the Fox Fitness Center, click here.
Any time listed on the University calendar as “Open-Recreation,” on either Adams Field (Field 1) or Dunning-Cohen Champions Field (Field 2) is available for drop-in use. When the air structure (the Bubble) is in use, open recreation is unavailable. South Green, located between Hamlin Tennis Center and the South Street Bridge is available for drop-in use, weather permitting.
