Women's Volleyball
The Women's Club Volleyball team is a competitive club designed for undergraduate/graduate women who played volleyball at the varsity and club level in high school and wish to continue playing competitively. The club atmosphere is not as rigorous as the Varsity level, but it is more competitive than the intramural teams. Our team is divided into 2 squads, an A team and a B team. Each team practices once a week on its own and once a week together (for a total of 2 practices per week). We go to 4-5 tournaments per semester, ranging all over the east coast - from Delaware to upstate New York to Boston. We are part of a larger league called the Northeast Women's Volleyball Club League (NWVCL), which is comprised of 25 other schools. In addition to regular tournaments, both teams attend League Finals and Nationals in April, both of which are overnight competitions.
Tryouts are held each September and we typically carry approximately 20 women, spread between the A and B teams.
