You matriculate a student by opening an APS entry in SRS. You must open an APS entry:
- to admit a student into a program
- to admit a student as a submatriculant
- to readmit a student
- to reinstate a student
- to return a student from a leave of absence
- to transfer a student into a program
You must enter at least the following on Screen 110 to open an APS entry in SRS:
- an approved academic program, consisting of a valid division, degree, and major
- an entry term and action
- an exit term and action
When you enter an approved academic program, the system will display certain default values associated with that program from Screen 134, Approved Academic Programs. They are: classification, level, school and career.
A student's career and classification may be changed manually. His/her level and school cannot be changed manually.
