SRS uses six different exit actions to indicate when students leave the University before they graduate or complete an academic program. If students do not officially withdraw, divisions may withdraw them.
If a student ended an academic program, the student withdrew. If a division terminated a student's academic program, the student would be either withdrawn or dropped.
Withdrawals and drops are recorded on the students' transcripts. The table below describes the resulting transcript text for each withdrawal/drop exit action.
Use one of the following exit actions to withdraw or drop a student from an academic program:

The exit date should be the actual date that the withdrawal or drop goes into effect in MMDDYY format.
A drop or withdraw exit action requires an exit reason. Enter an exit reason when a student withdraws or is dropped.
