SRS Course System

There are four files that make up the SRS Course System:

Course Inventory File Screens 125, 126, 127, 128	-	The "master index" of courses at Penn. Courses offered in the past, courses offered now, and courses planned for the future. It serves as the basis from which all term schedules and course publications are derived.
Course Register File Screens 1D1, 1D2, 1D3, 1D4	-	Contains text descriptions for departments and courses. These descriptions appear in the printed and electronic COURSE REGISTER.
Course Term File Screens 105, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 139	-	Contains all the term-related information about the course. It includes an entry for each section of the course along with specific days, times, meeting places and instructors. This information is used to produce the term publications: - COURSE TIMETABLE - FRESHMAN TIMETABLE - COURSE & ROOM ROSTER - SUPPLEMENTAL ROSTER.
Classroom File Screens 1C5, 1C6, 1C7, 1C8, 1C9	-	Contains an entry for nearly every classroom at Penn. It holds information about courses scheduled into specific rooms. It also holds information about special events.
