Section Type should be established at the time a section is first added to the Course Term File because it CANNOT be changed once the section has enrollments. To change SECTION TYPE before a section has enrollments, follow the procedure below.
To create a section using SECTION TYPE:

Establish the context line by entering the COURSE and the TERM on Screen 131. |

Tab to FUNCTION field. Type A, for add. |

- |
Tab to SECT TYPE. Type the appropriate code (see Changing Section Controls for values). |

Press Enter. |
