Logon Procedure

To use the SRS System, you must follow the procedures established by your office for accessing the UMIS mainframe. There are many ways that this can be accomplished, therefore the University Registrar's Office cannot document how you reach the Administrative Computing System Logon screen. When you have reached the screen that says ADMINISTRATIVE COMPUTING FACILITY:

- Type the word STUDENT and then press Enter. This returns & fills the screen with the CICS/VS logo.

- Clear the screen.

- Enter CSSN and a space, followed by your account number.

- Press Enter.

- Enter your password

- Press Enter.

- Clear the screen.

- Enter UMIS.

- Press Enter.

- Choose SRS from your UMIS applications Menu.

If you are entering from any other facility (i.e. scripting or a LAN) and you are presented with a screen that asks for APPLICATION:

Enter the CICS region you wish to logon to. For SRS it is CICSRUPN.

Then begin at the first Clear Screen of the Logon procedure above.

Return to System Features

-	Type the word STUDENT and then press Enter. This returns & fills the screen with the CICS/VS logo.
-	Clear the screen.
-	Enter CSSN and a space, followed by your account number.
-	Press Enter.
-	Enter your password
-	Press Enter.
-	Clear the screen.
-	Enter UMIS.
-	Press Enter.
-	Choose SRS from your UMIS applications Menu.
