Submissions requiring convened review must be submitted 4 weeks prior to the desired review date.
Continuing reviews requiring review by the convened IRB will be submitted to the IRB that reviewed the initial application.
As you set up your calendars for 2009, please review your study expiration dates and add a reminder your calendar to submit the required documents at least 6 weeks prior to expiration. This will allow for the studies to be placed on the agenda for the meeting one month prior to expiration which avoids potential expiration of approval and the Cinderella syndrome of approvals ending the day of the meeting. Research eligible for expedited review should be submitted 4 weeks before expiration.
