ANNOUNCEMENT
DOD F&A CAP UPDATE: .

The DoD began limiting F&A recovery reimbursement rates in FY08 for Basic Research and carried forward those limitations for two years.  The DoD  issued a memo dated 6/3/2011 that states the DoD appropriations act of 2011 does not carryforward the limitation contained in the previous 3 appropriations. Therefore, the F&A cap is no longer in affect for new awards. Going forward, any new year funding on an existing DoD project formerly affected by the F&A cap will require a new FUND #.  You can download a copy of the memo from the FDP web site at http://sites.nationalacademies.org/PGA/fdp/PGA_055833.
