Impact of Export Controls on Higher Education and Scientific Institutions
Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel
May 22–25, 2016

The University of Pennsylvania, in cooperation with the Association of University Export Control Officers (AUECO), presents The Impact of Export Controls on Higher Education Scientific Institutions, a 3-day conference on export controls for the academic and scientific community.  The conference provides an opportunity for the Department of Commerce, BIS, the Department of State, DDTC, the Department of Treasury, OFAC, and other government agencies to engage the university community on the export control issues that specifically affect universities, clinical research centers, and other nonprofit research institutions.  It also gives export compliance staff from academic research institutions the opportunity to network and share knowledge and practices for managing export controls.

Penn is pleased to be able to make available the conference materials, including presentation slides and audio recordings on this website.
