My staff and I are responsible for ensuring the continuity of strong volunteer leadership at the University. We manage Trustee and Overseer Affairs, as well as University Council.
Other responsibilities of this office include:
- Directing key institutional and ceremonial programs such as Commencement, Convocation and Inauguration;
- Managing the selection of honorary degree recipients;
- Issuing diplomas; and,
- Maintaining the custody of the University seal and regulating the use of Penn’s name, trademarks and insignia.
