The Office of the Cashier strives to provide professional, high-quality customer service to all members of the University community.

Accounting
The accounting function of the Office of the Comptroller is segregated into two components. -
Accounts Payable
Accounts Payable is responsible for processing invoices and issuing payments for Companies, Student Financial Services, and Foreign Drafts. Accounts Payable is also responsible for the Voiding and Reissuing of Payments made by the University. -
Corporate Tax
The mission of the Corporate Tax Office is to provide the community of the University of Pennsylvania with a business resource for the development of a strategic approach toward identifying and mitigating areas of tax exposure. -
Payroll
The mission of the Payroll Department is to fully utilize our employees, technological resources and partnerships in order to deliver timely and accurate compensation and information to all of our customers. -
Individual Disbursement Services
The IDS group is responsible for processing all reimbursements to Individuals (excluding individuals paid in foreign currency).

The Department of Financial Training provides members of the university community with programs focused on the University's financial processes, procedures and systems.

ORS provides administrative support to faculty and departmental managers for all sponsored project activities.
Risk Management
The Office of Risk Management is responsible for coordinating the risk management activities of the University in the areas of property insurance, general and automobile liability insurance, workers' compensation and medical, dental and veterinary professional liability.
Student Registration and Financial Services
This office is responsible all student-related financial services including financial aid and student loans, registration, and transcripts.
