Penn Preview Days

During Penn Preview Days, newly admitted students to the Class of 2015 and their families—close to 4,000 in total from all over the world—join the Penn Admissions team and the University community to become a Quaker for the day. During six different days in April, these special guests are encouraged to visit campus and experience all that Penn has to offer—both academically and socially. Students and parents meet with faculty, current students, undergraduate program advisors, administrators and Admissions staff.

Participants get to tour the College Houses and explore the many cultural resource centers and student hubs on campus, such as Civic House, Kelly Writers House, Platt Student Performing Arts House, the Penn Libraries, the study abroad office, the music department, the fine arts department, the fitness center and more.

More than 150 Kite and Key organization students meet with the admitted students in small groups. The Kite and Key volunteers give campus tours to the visiting families and share their own Penn experiences. Each Penn Preview Day ends with a treat of Philly water ice, soft pretzels, and a student a capella group performance.
