The University celebrated the grand opening of new buildings that are destined to transform academic and social life on campus, including the Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology and the ARCH Building.
The University also broke ground on the New College House, and honored the first graduating class from the Penn Vet Working Dog Center. And the University community also celebrated perennial events that mark the calendar of every Penn year, from Move-in days to the Penn Relays.
At Commencement, speaker and Penn alum John Legend encouraged the graduates to pursue a life of love: “And I’ve found that we live our best lives, we are at our most successful, not simply because we’re smarter than everyone else, or because we hustle harder. Not because we become millionaires more quickly. The key to success, the key to happiness, is opening your mind and your heart to love.”
