Student Telephone Services at the University of Pennsylvania provides an optional telephone service to students living on campus.
The 2011-2012 optional telephone service includes free Philadelphia local and metropolitan calls. Individual domestic and international long distance telephone calls incur additional charges. Students will need to provide their own telephone set.
The university student telephone service includes:
- Auto callback
- Call forwarding
- Caller ID*
- Call transfer

- Call waiting
- Three-way conference calling

Important!
Telephone service is not turned off automatically when you move out of your room. You must request that your STS service be disconnected. Otherwise, you will continue to be billed $16.50/month for the service.
