Bike Repair Stations

To further the goal of reducing single occupancy vehicle travel to Penn as part of the Sustainable Transportation Initiative, Penn’s Business Services Division has provided bicyclists with two repair stations near areas of bike storage concentration. These bike repair stations provide a valued amenity and recognition of the importance of cycling to the Penn Community.  One repair station is located at the garage on 34th and Chestnut Street where there are covered bike racks, and the other is located near the bike corral by the Chemistry building on 34th and Spruce Street.  The stations include tools to change a tire, instruments to adjust the seat and brakes, and a self-service air pump and are free for anyone to use.
