Energy Reduction Competition February 2015

The Power Down Challenge is a month-long building energy reduction competition hosted by Penn’s Green Campus Partnership. Select residential and campus buildings will compete against each other from February 2nd – 28th to reduce electricity usage and help contribute to the University’s Climate Action Plan goals.

The Power Down Challenge is a month-long energy reduction competition among College House and Sansom Place residents hosted by Penn's Green Campus Partnership.  Students in each residence participate to see which building can reduce its energy use the most and compete for prizes.

The Power Down Challenge for campus buildings is a month-long energy reduction competition among a select group of non-residential buildings representing various schools and centers. Occupants compete to see which building can reduce its electricity use the most over the course of the competition and contribute to Penn's energy conservation goals.

The Greek Power Down Challenge is a month-long energy reduction competition hosted by Greek Eco-Reps, which takes place during the month of November.  Thirteen chapters participated in the pilot program during 2014.
