March 20, 2013

The University of Pennsylvania has been named among the "Best Workplaces for Commuters" by the National Center for Transit Research (NCTR) at the University of South Florida. "Best Workplaces for Commuters" is a program designed to encourage sustainable transportation innovation. The awards recognize organizations who have taken exemplary steps to offer transportation options such as vanpool and transit benefits or telework and compressed workweek for their employees.  Penn received a Gold award in the University category for what the NCTR calls "exemplary steps to offer transportation options."
